The short version
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never transmitted to us or stored on a server. The only data collected is standard, aggregated web analytics and whatever our advertising partners collect through cookies.
What you enter into a calculator
All calculation happens locally in JavaScript on your device. Dimensions, quantities and results stay in your browser's memory for as long as the page is open. We do not log them, transmit them, or associate them with you in any way. Closing the tab discards them.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are useful. This records page views, referring sites, approximate country and device type. It does not build a profile of you across other websites, and it is not used to identify individuals.
Advertising and cookies
This site is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Advertising vendors and analytics providers may set their own cookies and are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control those cookies and do not receive the personal data they collect.
Your rights
Because we do not store personal data from the calculators, there is usually nothing for us to export or delete. If you have contacted us by email and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will remove it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
